Security Committee visits Kok River to observe "gold mine pollution", urges government to urgently solve the problem

The committee visited the first location at 2:15 p.m. at Ban Karen Ruammit, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province, to meet with a group of villagers who raise elephants and discuss the impact on tourism and health from the discovery of arsenic in the Kok River. During the visit, various agencies provided information, such as the Director of the Office of National Water Resources Region 1, representatives of provincial natural resources, the administration, and villagers.
